We listen to a lot of music, LM and I. I love music, and I have found that it calms, educates, relaxes, energizes you depending on what it is.
Right now, on the cd player is John Lithgow’s Sunny Side of the Street. If you haven’t listened to it, it is quite a joy. LM bounces along with the songs, and for mommy, he has guest singers like jazz chanteuse Madeline Peyroux and comedian Wayne Knight.
LM now wants to rock out on his guitar.

They Might Be Giants also have some fun children’s music. Ben and Jake are 9 and they still listen to some of them especially the theme song to Malcolm in the Middle- “You’re Not the Boss of Me Now” (even though they have never seen the show!).
